« Il existe plusieurs façon d’étirer le temps : tomber sur un truc et en faire toute une montagne . Serrer visser attendre ... devant la machine à dormir debout . On a fixé des plages, étiré nos attentes. Il n’y a plus rien devant nous ? Ou derrière tout un mirage qui nous retient les manches . Il y a quelque chose à apercevoir qui fait le tour de nos globes jusqu’au bout des doigts. On s’est fait tout un film pour retrousser demain - encore. »
Chopped and screwed propose un point d’union permettant de prélever des bouts de monde à travers une fiction, hybridant les pratiques entre sculpture, vidéo, performance, son, installation...Elle tente la distorsion d’un temps.
« There are several ways to stretch the time: to fall on something and to make a whole mountain. Tighten screw wait ... in front of the sleeping machine. We set beaches, stretched our expectations. There is nothing left in front of us? Or behind all a mirage that holds us back the sleeves. There is something to see that goes around our globes right to your fingertips. We made a movie to roll up tomorrow - again. »
Chopped and screwed proposes a point of union allowing to take bits of world through a fiction, hybridizing the practices between sculpture, video, performance, sound, installation ... It tries the distortion of a time.
